Vivaldi Social Care Study
Commissioned by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) the aim of the study is to improve the understanding of infections in care homes and similar environments beyond COVID-19. It will look at tackling the problem of infections and outbreaks to find new, better ways to protect residents that do not negatively impact their quality of life.
AFRI-C Study
While we know air filtration systems can remove viruses and other germs from the air, can portable air filters prevent respiratory infections and Covid-19 in care homes? The AFRI-C study, which kicked off in 2021, is the first study of its kind to explore the health benefits of portable air filters in care homes. Results are due in mid-2024.
