Who we are
JLA was founded in 1973 as a family-run business in Ripponden, West Yorkshire.
Fifty years on, we’ve grown to become a market leader in critical equipment supply and servicing, with over 22,000 customers and operations spanning the whole of Ireland and the UK.
Along the way, we’ve invested in people, cutting-edge technology and in-house infrastructure to ensure we can make life simpler in countless laundry rooms, kitchens and living spaces. And through our 24/7 support centre and nationwide engineer network, we stand ready to help at any time.

Established in 1927, Brodericks has long supported Ireland’s food service industry with dedicated kitchen scheme design, process solutions and catering equipment care; it now sits at the heart of JLA’s Irish catering offering. From twin sites in Dublin and Cork, its specialist design and engineering teams deliver results for clients across the 32 counties.
Reliance specialises in the supply, installation and maintenance of commercial laundry equipment across Ireland. Founded in Tuam in 2017 and operating nationwide, it carries invaluable sector knowledge that strengthens JLA’s ability to serve hundreds of hotels, hospitality venues, healthcare businesses and commercial laundries.
Together, Brodericks and Reliance draw on JLA’s resources and expertise to innovate and quickly respond to your changing needs.
